The City of Ferndale has been working on an update to 2014’s FerndaleMoves! plan, the framework for improving walking, biking and transit in the City. In the past few months, we’ve already heard from many residents through our online map and at a community meeting on December 9th about what they’d like to see to make it easier and safer to get around Ferndale on FerndaleMoves.com.
On December 9 we held an online public meeting to share our draft recommendations for the Ferndale Moves plan update, and to share information on the results of our Woodward Ave Road Diet Traffic Study. Thanks to everyone who came!
On January 27 2021 we will be holding another meeting specifically to discuss Woodward Avenue and the Road Diet Traffic Study. Please join us at the Zoom link above and below.

If you missed the December 9 meeting, you can watch a video of the meeting and view the slides below. We’ve also included a document with answers to the questions posed by participants at the end of the slides.

2. Use our updated interactive webmap to view the draft infrastructure recommendations and tell us what you think.

Without input from the people it is meant to serve, the Mobility Plan won’t work. Please join us for a public meeting on December 9, 2020 from 6:30 to 8:00pm to review a first draft of recommendations and tell us your thoughts. Because of COVID-19, all outreach will be conducted online and by mail in an effort to keep everyone safe.
