Welcome to the City of Ferndale's first annual Mobility Report! City departments, including Community and Economic Development, Department of Public Works, Police, Fire, and Communication, have implemented a number of projects in alignment with the City's nonmotorized transportation plan, Ferndale Moves, as well as the City's Strategic Plan and Master Plan. The City's Complete Streets ordinance requires streets be designed to "safely accommodate all users of the right-of-way" and 2019 projects met that intent and expanded the City's nonmotorized network. As the City approaches an update to the Ferndale Moves plan in late 2020, it seemed appropriate to look at all of the mobility projects completed or underway in the last year.
